3.3 Discovering The “I Want”
The first step in both the Framework for Change and the Five-Minute Coach model is to establish an outcome – to find out what your coachee would like to have happen.
If you’ve followed the materials in the Conversational Clean section, you’ll already know one way of directing someone’s attention away from what they don’t want and towards what they would like instead: The Power Switch.
Most Clean Coaches use the rather more sophisticated “PRO” model, devised by Penny Tompkins and James Lawley.
